Howard Gardner’s theory proposed that there are multiple ways in which an individual can be considered smart, and that it’s just a case of understanding which intelligence fits you best. Whilst being academically intelligent is a good thing, other intelligences are also positive, but they’ve never really been seen in the same light, and as a result, not as seen as intelligence, potentially resulting in a false narrative of certain people not being smart.

When we talk about self-confidence, we are talking about the belief that we place on ourselves, our abilities and our skillsets. It’s easy to make the connection that self-confidence and self-esteem mean the same thing given that they both relate to our own personal thoughts about ourselves, however, this is a misconception.
Self-discipline is the act of making sure that you stay motivated, achieve your goals, as well as occasionally, taking action against yourself. Self-discipline can be a difficult thing to teach and learn. Working in a team is a task that you will come across in your life quite often, so it is a serious aspect of most college and working environments. It involves the collaborative harnessing of individuals ideas as you all work towards an agreed goal, or outcome, in an agreed timeframe in order to solve a problem. In order for teams to work efficiently and effectively there needs to be a good understanding of what makes a good team in the first place, and what the different roles can be in a team, and what those roles entail as all members pull together with an agreed agenda and defined outcome.
